I solved the battery box problem now, no pic sadly but I used a big bit of rubber and drilled thorugh it and mounted the battery box on top of it with some 100mm bolts, wasn´t fun drilling through that rubber...
But the current state of the bike looks like this
The complete exhaust system is now mounted, the foot pins has been cut of and re-welded on and repainted.
Also the back wheel was too much to the left so i had to move 9mm to the right... wasn´t much fun fixing those spokes again...
And to the current problems, I have no idea how the ignition needs to be positioned.
I know according to the fly wheel that it's meant to ignition at the second mark on it but this plate on the contactless ignition has two plates when it should ignite but when does it? At first contact or when it´s pointing too the middle of the plate?
And the second problem, the drive shaft is too long as it has a dnepr gearbox which apperently is a bit longer so I probably need to find a drive shaft from a dnepr. The current one is about 375mm long and is 25mm to long for the snap ring to be able too fit.
Also repainted the hand controls on the handlebar, the paint got a bit thick so the text isn't really that visible but it was in russian anyway ;)

Some things fixed and some new problems... mostly problems
Well I got the cylinders on and ain't it a beauty with those black cylinders :)
And with the top on one of them.
But some problems, the engine stops rotating at a certain point when kicking it, so will probably have to remove the cylinder heads too see what the problem is, might be that the vavles has gotten out sync also so I'm gonna check that first.
Another problem as mentioned before is the clutch arm, it collidies with my new fine battery box :(
But I have another solution now and that is to remove the battery box and raise it as it's lots of space above it, just gonna have to file away the solderings underneath, hopefully I wont have to remove the engine but only the back wheel =/
And the foot pegs that we soldered on because the cogs holding them in position were kinda non-existant, ah well they are in the way of the foot pedal, can't get it in the right angle now so I'll see how I'll solve that...
But I got a package with some small stuff today, among those a new gasket for the final drive, so now that part is complete at least.

Engine mounted!
So mounted the engine today, feels like a big step in the right direction.
Was a bit worried that the air box would touch the new battey holder but alas to my happiness it did not :)
But another problem appeared instead, the arm that presses in the clutch is to long/far back and touches the battery holder so I couln't mount the clutch arm, need to modify it somehow...
Some other small notes, in progress of repainting the new back suspension as the they were a bit scratched and the color didn't hold that high standards, was a bit lazy so I didn't take them apart.

And I took apart the final drive and the clogs looks to be in top condition, although the nail bearings just falled out, gonna have lots of fun getting them back togheter later...
And for the clutch arm I need to modify it something like this, not the best mspaint drawing but I hope you understand how I mean :S

Big update
It's starting to come togheter!
So the front for is on and polished up.
The front wheel is ready to get on!
Front break is polished up and have new break pads.
Trying to get it together, got a bit low.
But I got it on! A bit hard doing it alone, but now it won't spin :( maybe the break pads were to tight but I lowered them to a minimun... maybe the paint on wheel hub is touching against the break it self. Will take it apart tomorrow or later this week to check where it's to tight.
And a funny view :)
I know the fron fender aint on but it hasn't been repainted yet so it will come on later, even if I have to take off the wheel again...

Got the steering bearings of finally...
Damn this was much harder than I thought it would be, first I tried prying it loose to no avail. Then I tried knocked it with a hammer and screwdriver and heating it up to no avail, after that I removed the bearings themself as I have ordered new ones and tried hammering and heating the inner track to no avail...
Then I took out my dremel and started to split it and I tought I might get some marks on the other parts but halfway through it just snapped, the tension must have been really high.

First pic when trying to pry and hammer it off.
Then half way through with the dremel it cracked, can barely see the crack but it's there.
And the some hard enamel lacquer where the powder coating was missing :)

Finally first wheel done :)
Finally got the tire onto the first wheel, a'int it a beauty :)
Used a lot of tape on the tools to protect the powder coating on the rim, also used bits of chopped up air compressor tubes. Worked great, it only chipped at one placed but a bit enamel varnish on it will keep it sealed.
A pic from before starting mounting the tire, tried out the air tube so that the nozzle would fit and such.

A wheel stand!
Built it today for balancing the wheels and to make sure the spokes gets correctly adjusted. One of the old wheels is mounted on it on the pics just to test it, the wheel itself was a bit unbalanced and a bit wobbly...
And but the wheel hubs are done and the bearings are mounted inside them so it's time to get these wheels together. Also gotten two new Heidenau K34 19 tires, better for when riding solo., no pics alas.
